Todo Reminder Time
Microsoft To Do keeps two times on a task: Add due date picks the day it is due, and Remind me picks, separately, "later today, tomorrow, next week, or a date and time you pick" (Add due dates and reminders). A reminder the evening before a morning deadline is the case it serves.
Why deferred
A TodoList due date carries a time of day, and due reminders push when it arrives, so one field already answers both "when is it due" and "when am I told". A second time is a second field on every todo, a second scheduled message per save, and a second thing the Calendar blade has to choose between. The lean list keeps one.
Revisit when
A reader asks to be reminded ahead of a due time — the reminder then becomes an offset before the due date rather than a second free time, so it stays one decision.
